Huzhou is an ancient Chinese city surrounding with beautiful scenery and with a profound culture in the Zhejiang Province in China. The poet “戴表元” Mr. Dai Biao Yuan of the Yuan Dynasty said: “Walking all over the Yangtze River and the beautiful land, life can only live in Huzhou – 行遍江南清麗地，人生只合住湖州”. Our landscape design brings the unique of humanistic customs of Huzhou into the Huzhou Mansion Project, using Elegance, Exquisite and Comfort as the key words to create a relaxing, green and healthy living environment for the residents. At the same time, through the landscape design techniques, our design was greatly inspired by the blessed natural environment around the site and integrated with the internal landscape, so that residents can enjoy the pure natural environment at the same time.

Eco-friendly and innovative are the major requirements of this project. Our design was greatly inspired by the blessed natural environment around the site. Stretching from its westside riverbanks to the southwest mountain backs. We aim to build a harmonious relationship between man and nature by employing elements of Chinese calligraphy painting, together with the landscape outline of its river and mountains.

The overall landscape design mainly includes a feature water garden and a large multi-functional lawn on the central landscape axis, community gardens and outdoor recreational space with different functions, as well as an activity venue for the elderly and children, including reading court, and tea garden created by combining the functions of the void areas and common areas at G/F of the buildings. The lives of modern people are mostly noisy, impetuous, and fast living rhythm. We hope that the residents will be able to escape from the fatigue when returning here, relax their body and mind, slow down the rhythm, and enjoy the leisure of slow living in the past.
