Erik Manuel Ilagan

Project DesignerPhilippines
Introduction

Erik is a licensed Interior Designer in the Philippines and a graduate of Philippine Women’s University. He brings four years of experience in retail design, commercial environments, and exhibition design with two of the country’s leading furniture brands, where he developed a strong understanding of user experience, spatial storytelling, visual merchandising, and brand-driven environments.

As a Project Designer at Cohere Design, Erik plays a key role in shaping landscape architecture, interior design, and mixed-use development projects from concept through realization. He leads the creative and technical development of projects while contributing to design management and project coordination. Collaborating with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams, he translates ideas into thoughtful, buildable, and context-responsive design solutions that align with project objectives and long-term value.

Passionate about the intersection of design and technology, Erik champions the integration of digital visualization, emerging design tools, and innovative workflows to enhance the design process and project outcomes. His work is driven by a belief that great design should strengthen the relationship between people, nature, architecture, and culture—creating meaningful environments that are both functional and enduring.
