In 2005, a new golf course opened in Elliot Lake, Ontario. The escarpment, the lake, the wetlands, mature vegetation, exposed rock faces, and dramatic elevation changes. Stone Ridge at Elliot Lake is destined to be one of the finest venues of the sport in Northern Ontario. The design fits effortlessly into the landscape. It will look mature from the day it opens”. The entire course was sculpted from glacial erratic and covered with glacial sands. Stone Ridge is recognized as one of the great golf courses of Northern Ontario.
